Event Description
This program will examine the research on the intersection of HIV and mental health, look at how psychological trauma increases the risk of HIV, and review how an HIV diagnosis itself can be experienced as a trauma. Clinical and treatment implications will be discussed. The intended audience for this program includes social workers, counselors, and other professionals who work with people who are both medically and mentally ill. Registration is online.
