Associate Director/Behavioral Science Faculty:

Summa Akron City Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency program is seeking a Behavioral Science faculty position in their 8 – 8 – 8 Family Medicine residency.  The main role of this position is to educate resident physicians.  Additional roles include supervisory responsibility for the behavioral health team that is part of our integrated model and some direct clinical care in the outpatient and inpatient settings.  The behavioral health team includes the Behavioral Science faculty member, 2 masters level behavioral health consultants, a bachelor’s level social worker and a consulting psychiatrist.  This position is integrally involved in all aspects of the residency and clinic operations. Opportunities for leadership and scholarship are available.  Ability to work as part of a team is a must.  The successful candidate must have a doctorate in psychology or equivalent and be licensed or license eligible in Ohio.  Clinical and teaching experience are required.  Experience working in a health care system is highly desirable. Seeking a clinical psychologist for a full-time position within the city of Chicago:

Primary Care Psychology Associates is a group practice with psychologists integrated into various internal medicine, pediatrics, and primary care clinics throughout Chicagoland. We are seeking a clinical psychologist for a full-time position within the city of Chicago. The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to work independently under the umbrella of a team-oriented and collaborative approach. Responsibilities will include consulting closely with primary care providers and providing therapy within a brief behavioral health model. The candidate must also have experience with psychological testing and assessment. The patient population will be primarily adults presenting with a variety of clinical concerns, including: mood disorders, sleep issues, pain management, and relationship concerns. The qualifying psychologist will also have the opportunity to supervise graduate students or interns participating in our APA-accredited internship in primary care psychology.

Court Psychiatric Clinic Director:

The Court Psychiatric Clinic of the Cuyahoga County (Cleveland, Ohio) Common Pleas Court is accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours per week) Clinic Director to join its professional staff.  The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, supervising & coordinating the Clinic’s activities; preparing Clinic budget requests for the Court; conducting psychiatric/psychological examinations, evaluating defendants, preparing reports & providing expert testimony in Court and performing various personnel functions.  The Court Psychiatric Clinic is a busy facility preparing over 700 Competency to Stand Trial and a similar number of Sanity at the Time of Act evaluations of felony-level defendants annually.  Knowledge of mental illness, developmental disabilities & mental health law within forensic settings are required.  The position requires the candidate to have a medical degree with license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio or a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with license to practice in the State of Ohio; 7-10 years relevant experience, including supervisory & management responsibilities; knowledge of courts &/or experience working in a court environment is a plus.  All employment offers are subject to a criminal background check and drug test.
