No… send CE certificates in as you earn them; so that, they can be added to your transcript on a timely basis!

More than 3,000 psychologists are registered with OPA-MCE to track their CE hours. If everyone holds their certificates until the last minute, the processing time can double or even triple causing unneeded stress for everyone.

Not sure how to submit your CE… here’s how:

  • APA Approved Courses – You must email (mce@ohpsych.org) certificates as pdf attachments or fax (614-224-6702) them without a cover sheet as soon as you get the certificate.
  • OPA-MCE Approved Courses – You do not need to send in a certificate as long as you signed the psychologist attendance sheet on the day of the course. The OPA-MCE approved provider will send it in for you. This can take up to 45 days, so please be patient.
  • Non-APA or non-OPA-MCE Approved Course – You need to fill out the Single Course Review form and include ALL required attachments. The review process takes several weeks to complete… even longer if the required information is not included in your initial submission. It is imperative that you do not wait until the end of the biennium to submit Single Course Reviews. Keep in mind… not all Single Course Reviews are approved. Waiting until the last minute to find out that a course you took has been denied can leave you scrambling to complete your CE requirement before the deadline.
